Laker for a Lifetime Logo Redesign | 2025
‘Laker for a Lifetime’ is a mantra used by Grand Valley State University students and alumni to express their school pride, create community and foster affinity for the school. The Alumni Relations team at GVSU reached out to me with a request for a set of direct mail pieces to be sent to newly graduated alumni – encouraging them to stay connected to their campus community after they have graduated. This presented a unique opportunity to develop an updated 'Laker for a Lifetime' logo and visual identity to be used in all alumni facing communications going forward. The final deliverables included an envelope, tri-fold card, and peel-off sticker for new grads to display their Laker Pride wherever their professional journeys may take them.
